## Why It Matters

A non-router sending redirects can be abused to influence other hosts' routing on the local network.

## How It Detects

Reads /proc/sys/net/ipv4/conf/*/send_redirects directly (all, default and every interface; no command is run) and fails if any of them differs from the hardened value 0.

## How to Fix

Create /etc/sysctl.d/60-openvapt-hardening.conf containing:  net.ipv4.conf.all.send_redirects = 0  then apply with: sysctl --system

## How to Verify

```
sysctl net.ipv4.conf.all.send_redirects  should print 0.
```
